'71 FL (titled as such, assembled 9/2006) w/ 96" shovelhead in Delkron cases. Built ground-up by me in 9/06, everything new or refurbished, as well as some welding and metalwork by Trent at Atomic Custom. Gorgeous, comfortable and reliable ride, with tons of power, a variety of custom touches, and a host of the best components.

As of 11/2008, in addition to regular oil changes and maintenance, it just got the following it starts and rides like a dream:
  • "Leak Proof" fork seals and new seal spacers, w/ new fork fluid
  • New points, condensor and cork gasket (Morris Magneto replacement parts). Retimed to 28 deg BTDC (dual plugs).
  • New oil tank mounts (flatside gas tank mounts, so no more broken rubber isolators)
  • New manifold seals and needle/seat in the carb
  • new OEM rubber floorboard pads
  • new Headlight

As of 9/16/009:

  • front brake light switch,
    new front wheel bearings + seals,
    new seals on rockerbox oil ines
  • 7/15/09 Oil Change, rubber pushrod seals, pushrod adjustments
  • The BAD: I ride this bike, so it's not perfect (closeup pics below), but it's damn nice:
    • small crease in the left side of rear fender from someone tapping the rear end at a stoplight
    • some wear in the paint on rear fender from P-pad and a scratch on the lower right side of the fender
    • usual bluing on the exhaust pipes
    • chrome finish on right side of rear wheel isn't great (b/c I mistook a spray bottle of acid for a bottle of wheel cleaner)
